At It's a Dog's World, we believe that your pet should get the same loving care they get at home with you. We are groomers, trainers and care givers who want nothing more than for your pet's stay with us to be the best experience possible. Owned and operated by Jennifer Mahfood-Forte, It’s a Dog's World Ltd. has been in operation since 1981 in Jamaica. On returning home with her AAS degree as a Vet Tech, Animal Hospital, Emergency Technician and groomer, Jennifer has over forty years of experience in the Pet Care industry .

Our Services

Boarding

We have a 24 hr/ 7 days per week care giver on property to deal with your pet’s needs and care.
We deal with freshly cooked food daily, good quality dog chow, cage free, socialization and exercise with attention to detail for your pet.

DOGGIE DAY CARE

With plenty of exercise, fresh water and doggie socializing, our daycare is a safe and fun way for your pet to spend the day.

Dog Grooming

Brushing, de-tangling, shaving, detail to the skin and styling, every pet passes through the loving care of our gentle groomers Kerry and Jennifer.

Dog Training

Obedience, potty training and aggression training our trainers are gentle yet disciplined. We deal with social interaction, exposure, support, confidence and exercise in a clean and organized facility. Our trainers have over 30 years experience in the field of dog training.

Dog Walking

Affordable and easy. We come to your home two times per week to exercise your pet.

PiCK-Up & Drop-OFF

We know that sometimes life gets in the way of your plans so we help to ease some of the stress by offering comfortable and safe pick-up and drop-off services that both you and your pet can look forward to.
